Principal M. C. Shah started Navgujarat Arts and Commerce Colleges in 1963. In the
first year total number of students were 240.
As on today nearly 6500 students are studying in different colleges viz, Commerce,
Arts, Law and Computer Science. In All these colleges, the level of marks for admission
is very high and competitive with other such colleges affiliated to Gujarat University.
The colleges are having highly educated and experienced faculties having obtained
Ph.D.,C.A, M.Phil degree in various subjects.All the colleges are having State of
Art infrastructure having all facilities for good educational environment.
The building is situated amidst well-known educational institution like Gujarat
Vidyapith and Government offices like Reserve Bank Of India, Income Tax, Custom
and Central Excise Department.
Vidyabhavan Trust(VBT) is Charitable Trust registered with Charity Commissioner,
Gujarat.
